To stop the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon
  1. Use a terminal session to connect to the Linux server as the root user.
  2. Navigate to the following directory:

/etc/init.d/

For example:
cd /etc/init.d/
  1. Stop the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon.
For example:
/etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init stop
  1. Restart the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon when necessary.
