Running the Backup Exec Utility for CAS operations

A separate application called Backup Exec Utility is available to help you perform the following CAS operations:
  • Move a managed Backup Exec server.
  • Disable or enable communication with a managed Backup Exec server.
Use the Backup Exec Utility only with the guidance of Veritas Technical Support. Improper use of this utility can result in configuration changes that may prevent Backup Exec from running.
To run the Backup Exec Utility
  1. From the Backup Exec installation directory, in \Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec, double-click BEUtility.
  2. On the Backup Exec Utility menu, click Help to learn about how to use BE Utility.
