About installing the Agent for Microsoft SharePoint

Before you can back up Microsoft SharePoint server farms, you must install the Agent for Microsoft SharePoint (SharePoint Agent) on the Backup Exec server. The SharePoint Agent is installed as part of the Agent for Applications and Databases, which is included with Backup Exec Silver and Gold editions.
