Preparing a computer in a workgroup environment to deploy the Veritas System Recovery Agent

You must complete certain steps in Windows to prepare a computer in a workgroup environment to deploy the Veritas System Recovery Agent.
To prepare a computer in a workgroup environment to deploy the agent
  1. On the Windows taskbar, right-click Start, and then clickExplore.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options > View.
  3. On the View tab, scroll to the end of the list and verify that the Use simple file sharingcheck box is not selected, and then clickOK.
  4. On the Windows Control Panel, click Windows Firewall.
You may need to also click Change Settings if you are running Windows Server 2008.
  1. On the Exceptions tab, select File and Printer Sharing, and then clickOK.
    Note: You should close any open applications before you continue with the agent installation. If theRebootcheck box is selected, the computer automatically restarts at the end of the installation wizard.
