About organizational views
An organizational view is a hierarchical grouping of resources (as organizational groups) that reflects a real-world structure, or view of your organization. For example, you may create organizational views to group your resources by geographical location, or by department, or by network structure.
The custom organizational views that you created using Symantec Management Platform are available in Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution. When you are in the Manage Tasks tab, you can use these organization views to filter the list of client computers.
Note: You cannot create organizational views from the Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution. The organizational views can be created from Symantec Management Platform only. For more information about organizational views, see theSymantec Management Platform Administrator's Guide.
