Aging the database

Age Database lets you age a Backup Exec Database by deleting the information that is old. The age of information is based on the aging criteria that you define.
To age a Backup Exec database
  1. Select a Backup Exec server from either a Backup Exec server group or from All Backup Exec Servers.
  2. In the task pane, under Database Tasks, click Age Database.
  3. After the operation finishes, click Close.
