Starting the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon

If necessary, you can start the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon after the operating system starts.

To start the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon
  1. Use a terminal session to connect to the Linux server as the root user.
  2. Navigate to the following directory:

/etc/init.d/

For example:
cd /etc/init.d/
  1. Start the Remote Media Agent for Linux daemon.
For example:
/etc/init.d/VRTSralus.init start
